What I Do
Do I need to be an athlete to benefit?
If you use your body for what you do - you’re an athlete. This ranges from needing your body for work, for play, or for recreational or professional sport. Across the board the body still has the same fundamental functions and needs, and often these are completely forgotten or never learned, leading to pain, injury, and limitations. If pain, low energy, or fear of injury hold you back from living the life you dream of, then you have a performance goal - to get back in the game of life!

"I had problems with both my shoulders for almost ten years, suffering multiple subluxations and dislocations on each shoulder. I would workout and go to physio everyday but still the problems persisted. I stopped playing varsity volleyball at UBC and had to stop doing other relatively “safe’ activities such as golf because my shoulders were too unstable and I was tired of them constantly dislocating. This continuous pain and instability caused me to undergo 2 surgeries per shoulder over a four year period and I was on the verge of quitting volleyball. I was in constant agony and told by my orthopedic surgeon that I would need knee replacements within a few years.
